Consolidation of the smart grid
Inael Electrical Systems is leading a national R&D&I project related to Electric Vehicle and Smart Grid infrastructures.
Inael, a company based in Toledo, is leading the CASCADA project, recently approved and funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN).
The project addresses the development of key equipment to enable the consolidation of the Smart Grid, as well as the mass deployment of the Electric Vehicle. Gas Natural Fenosa is also participating in the project, as well as several world-leading research institutions: the National Microelectronics Centre, the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Seville, and the Department of Photocatalysis of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
As a result of Inael’s commitment to research and innovation, the MICINN has been awarded three large R&D&I projects.
