The new SF6 free switchgear uses air as an insulating element for high-voltage switchgear, preventing variations in pressure, density and humidity from unfavorably and uncontrollably affecting the behavior of traditional solid insulation.

The use of pure air ensures the correct operation of the equipment, preventing failures or unexpected disconnections, which guarantees highly safe operation. Even in situations of abnormal insulating gas leaks, where other alternatives such as high pressure air or other gases would require immediate disconnection through general protections.

The new design of E-Cabinel switchgear has innovative load break switch-disconnectors (LBS) optimized to minimize their sizes and maintain the dimensions of SF6 switchgear, using vacuum breaking technology which has extensive experience in the primary and secondary distribution markets for many years, being a very safe and effective cutting system for voltages of 24 and 36 KV.

The E-Cabinel system offers two types of solutions:

– Modular system: The modules can be connected in parallel, seeking the best and most appropriate combination for the needs of each client.

– Compact system: Like the modular system, the compact system shares similar features, but is usually cheaper compared to the modular.
