High Voltage Equipment

Only a perfect development of electrical switchgear guarantees a reliable and safe service.

Since 1975, Inael has been designing and producing electrical switchgear, with the highest quality standards, for energy distribution networks. We work with the world’s leading electrical companies.

The biggest of the house. Medium voltage fuses were the first product manufactured and marketed by Inael. It is a component used in electrical circuits to protect medium voltage switchgear against the dynamic and thermal effects of short circuits.

We offer a wide range of medium voltage fuses for all types of solutions.

Intended for both transmission and distribution power lines as well as in substations, surge arresters are used for suspension and support of electrical conductors.

INAEL’s polymeric insulators, coated with silicone rubber, are designed to withstand adverse climatic conditions (humidity, salinity, etc.) as well as highly polluted environments, offering safety, reliability and high performance in their use for electrical power distribution networks.

The polymeric avifauna surge arresters designed by Inael Electrical Systems have received official approval from two electricity companies. The CS70YB30AV insulator has been approved by Iberdrola and the CS70AB30AV by Endesa.

These surge arresters are specially designed for rigidly fastening conductors to the supports of medium-voltage power lines. They are characterised by their high resistance to bending and their large creepage distance, pollution level III according to IEC 60 815, which makes them ideal for locations with high pollution or high stress requirements. The surge arresters are equipped with stamped and hot-dip galvanised fittings.

The new avifauna polymeric surge arresters are the ideal solution to one of the biggest problems we encounter today, the electrocution of birds.

Polymeric suspension: 15 kV to 132 kV, 50 kN to 120 kN.

Polymeric suspension type Avifauna up to 36 kV.

Polymeric support: 6 kV to 36 kV, 6 kN to 8 kN.

INZP” type distribution  surge arresters are designed for distribution systems. They are non-explosive devices incorporating highly non-linear metal oxide varistors with a rated discharge current of 10 kA. The enclosure is made of polymeric material.

The polymeric substation conductors offer unmatched performance and optimum cost after extensive R&D of the basic ceramic semiconductor components of the ZnO-based varistor blocks designed and manufactured by us. This fact allows optimisation of the cost/performance ratio as well as easy adaptation and customisation of performance parameters for any specific application.

Ceramic or polymer cuts outs. From 12 to 36 kV. Up to 630 A.

For indoor, outdoor, three-pole or single-pole use.

Ceramic and polymeric cuts outs from 15 to 36 kV, up to 300 A, 8/12 kA.

Both clamping and suspension clamps are designed for use with aluminium-steel alloy conductors, which may or may not be equipped with protection rods.

Inael offers a wide range of clamps and ties. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries.
