Concrete transformer substations
Both in electricity distribution networks and in renewable generation systems, equipment whose function is to transform the voltage of the energy supply is used as interconnection points, either with the end user or with the distribution network; this equipment is called concrete transformer substations.
The concrete transformer substations that INAEL offers are made up of:
- Models of the reinforced concrete monoblock series in its above ground or underground versions for voltages of 12 kV, 24 kV and 36 kV and power ranges from 1×50 kVA to 2 x 1250 kVA in natural ventilation.
- Models of the single-block metal surface-mounted container series for voltages of 12 kV, 24 kV and 36 kV and power ranges from 1×50 kVA to 2 x 1250 kVA in natural ventilation.
INAEL’s range of concrete transformer substations are used for various applications in the power supply and power generation sector as well as in the industrial sector. It is characterised by flexible dimensions and versatile configurations, as well as the availability of options according to customer specifications and needs.
