Inael Electrical Systems has recently obtained the certificate for successfully completing the first edition of the “Training Program: Sustainable Suppliers”, developed by the UN Global Compact (the biggest international business sustainability initiative), in collaboration with the ICO Foundation and ICEX Spain Export and Investment.
This program consists of training in specific areas of the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for SMEs that supply large companies that are members of the initiative in Spain. It is an international training project, since it focuses not only on Spanish suppliers, but also from other countries.
With this certified training, Inael is committed and guarantees to comply with the sustainability standards of large companies with a global impact, as well as knowing how to integrate sustainability into the business strategy and how to measure the results achieved.
Program objectives
• Train the supply chains of large Spanish companies, partners of the initiative in Spain, in the field of sustainability, taking as a reference the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs.
• Offer knowledge and resources to Spanish SMEs and other parts of the world on business sustainability based on the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and the SDGs.
• Help SMEs that supply large companies that are members of the Global Compact to comply with the national, European and international regulatory framework regarding sustainability.
• Position Spain as a benchmark in promoting business sustainability and contributing to the 2030 Agenda through a pioneering United Nations project.
