40M allocated to electric car charging points

We are participants in the proliferation of recharging points in our country

Inael Electrical Systems has reached an agreement with several customers for the supply of concrete transformer substations for electric vehicle charging areas in Spain.

This year, a further increase in the number of charging points for electric cars in Spain is expected to reach the figure of 100,000 points.

The Royal Decree 29/2021 of the BOE number 305, will make it compulsory to place these points throughout the length and breadth of our country. Petrol stations, public supermarket car parks, restaurants, shopping centres or private residential buildings will have to install a certain number of chargers.

Concrete transformer substations are used, as their name suggests, to transform the high voltage (>1000V) of secondary distribution networks to low voltage (420V) in order to be used for vehicle chargers. Inael designs, produces and integrates these concrete transformer substations in the facilities that the company has in the capital of Castilla-La Mancha and in Noblejas, offering specific solutions for each project of electric charging stations, or other types of renewable energy installations, improving the quality of the supply of 100% clean energy. This is one more line of business, which is added to the already high specialisation in solutions for the generation and management of renewable energies.

Ángel David Lara Jiménez, CEO of Inael, highlighted “these contracts are an extraordinary stimulus in our commitment to renewable energies, and it is a real satisfaction to see how our customers place their trust in us. Our track record backs us up. We have been researching and developing this type of sustainable applications for years, and their implementation is livings spectacular results”.
